A large proportion of World Flowers cut-flower volume comes from
the UK and Kenya. The remaining product is sourced
from a
variety
of countries
including Holland, Spain, Columbia, Ireland, Thailand, Israel,
Italy and Morocco.
World Flowers currently works with nine farms in East Africa
with a total workforce of about 25,000 of which approximately
90%
are
permanently employed, with around half being female.
This level of employment ensures communities can be built around
each farm giving a better livelihood to workers and improving the
standard of living for them and their families.
