Press Release 1st November 2006

On the 31st October 2006 World Flowers acquired First Flora, the marketing arm of Donaldson's Nurseries. In turn, Donaldson's will contract grow UK Chrysanthemums exclusively for World Flowers.

The alliance with Donaldson's will enable World Flowers Ltd to lead the UK Chrysanthemum market through "Seed to Sale" control of all production. This will include: market leading quality, new exclusive variety selection & world class growing expertise allowing for seasonal varied mixes.

Over 60 varieties of Chrysanthemums, Stocks & Alstroemeria are produced on the 20 acre Donaldson's site, which has been managed by Alan and Colin Frampton for over 20 years.

Jim Floor, MD of World Flowers, said "The combination of the best English grown crops and our world class marketing experience should prove a wonderful opportunity".

Alan Frampton says "This is the dawn of a strong alliance where both companies are customer focused and relentless in the pursuit of quality".
