JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Month End for 3 companies including:
Financial Accounts Reporting
Accruals/Prepayments/Fixed Assets/Rebates/Debit Note/Biological Assets/Stock
GAP Analysis
Submissions to Kenya and Bank
Other duties will include:
WFL VAT Return
Involvement with the Financial Year End process – Annual Audit, Stock Counts, Stats and Tax Pack preparation
Sending Bank Payments – BACs and Bankline
Foreign Currency Transfer
Cover for Labour Reporting during holidays/absence
Ad hoc project work
Assistant with Budget, Management Accounts and ROB preparation for WFL, FTF and LLC
Authorisation and checking of Nominal Coding

Title: Business Unit Manager (Maternity Cover) [Ref: WF01040]

Description:
Manage all aspects of WFL Direct Business Unit with full GM/profit accountability.
Job responsibilities:
- Set up and track the total Business Unit Strategy in line with Group requirements
- Maintain Business Unit budget requirements for sales, operating costs and gross margin
- To develop strong relationships with Buyers and Merchandising at customer head offices
- To oversee Commercial, Technical and NPD to ensure best practise and manage customer KPIs
- To present new ranges and cost proposals to customers, as required, currently operating on 4 seasonal changes
- Control of Peak Period planning through selection of ranges and management of customer volumes and forecasts
- To act as lead negotiator in all Business Unit Distribution and Logistics contracts
